It’s everyone’s favorite time of the year – Today at Noon, the Chairman’s, Dean’s List, and Entrepreneurship portals were opened!

The Chairman’s and Entrepreneurship Awards must be submitted by a student award submitter. The Dean’s List Award must be submitted by Lead Mentor 1 or 2. The award portals can be accessed by logging into the firstinspires.org dashboard.

Please note the deadlines below. We highly recommend that your team sets its own target date at least 24 hours earlier than our real deadlines. Earlier is always better! Every year, we receive emails and calls from teams who have missed the deadlines asking for exceptions and unfortunately every year we decline requests, out of fairness to teams who successfully met the published requirements. These deadlines also help ensure that we can stay on track with the award selection process. 
 

A few updates to the Chairman’s Award:

• Teams are no longer able to submit their Chairman’s Video on a DVD. The only option is to bring your video on a USB flash drive. Teams should place the USB in a clear, sealable plastic bag along with the Chairman’s Video Use Consent form. You can read all the details online here.
• Speaking of the Chairman’s Video Use Consent form, it has also been updated. Make sure you download and print the new form!

We also wanted to take this opportunity to present an exciting new resource for teams! We worked with longtime FRC Judges to create Best Practices for the FRC Judged Awards. It includes general tips for talking to judges and tips on the Chairman’s and Dean’s List Interviews.
