With 619 teams in FIRST^® Robotics Competition alone, it took a massive effort from our dedicated staff and nearly 1,000 volunteers to put on the event. MANCHESTER, NH, April 14, 2023 – FIRST^®, a robotics community that prepares young people for the future, today announced the second year of the partnership with UNCF (United Negro College Fund), to make scholarships available to students who are pursuing undergraduate programs in their field of choice at Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs).

Over the last six weeks, more than 3300 FIRST® Robotics Competition teams have competed in more than 15,000 matches across more than 160 events. And we aren’t done yet!

Global Brands and Industry Leaders Come Together to Support Young Innovators as they Compete at the FIRST^® Championship Event presented by BAE Systems, the World’s Largest Celebration of STEM and Robotics for Students

In just 3 weeks, more than 600 FIRST® Robotics Competition teams will load in for the 2023 FIRST^® Championship presented by BAE Systems. More than 200 teams are already registered for the event, and many more will qualify in the next 2 weeks.

We are excited to once again partner with NewsCorp to support FIRST^® teams and Class Packs with their DonorsChoose projects.
