Second Event Preference Results

The second round of event assignments have been completed, and all went smoothly! Huzzah!

Teams can see their assignments on their dashboards, and informational emails have gone out to the Lead Mentor 1 and the Lead Mentor 2 of all teams that participated in this second round of preferencing. These emails indicated whether the team was registered or waitlisted, and to what event. 

Some data:

• 2,273 teams were registered or waitlisted for second events. Of those…
  • 55.5% of teams were registered for their most preferred second event
  • 27.7% of teams were waitlisted for their most preferred second event
  • 11.9% of teams were registered for their second choice second event
  • 1.4% of teams were waitlisted for their second choice second event
  • The rest of the teams were registered or waitlisted for their third through fifth preferences

The system is now open for free selection of first and second events by teams who missed the preferencing windows. We will provide more details on other registration periods at a later time.

Drive Base Opt-Out

Don’t forget; Drive Base Opt Out for veteran teams ends at Noon Eastern Time tomorrow, Friday, October 20^th. Please check your current Opt Out status on your dashboard to make sure it is right, and please correct it if it isn’t.
