In a culture where we consider the meaning of every word or image to try and pull out hints to what the new seasons game will be, we sometimes lose sight of the real game -- life. As many of our participants have graduated and have started looking for their next adventure, we hope that you will consider the following opportunity to become a FIRST® AmeriCorps VISTA member. Becoming a FIRST VISTA member is a great way to help FIRST serve more youth, while building your professional skills and earning money for school!

We’re looking for talented, emerging leaders from a wide variety of backgrounds to commit to a full time, year-long national service opportunity. Interested? FIRST VISTA members help engineer pathways out of poverty by facilitating access to FIRST and STEM programs in low-income and under-resourced communities. While serving, members receive a modest living stipend and at the end of their term, they are eligible to receive an education award or an end of service cash stipend. VISTA candidates must be at least 18 years old and be U.S. citizens or have permanent resident status. Does this sound like you? We currently have around 30 VISTA positions across the United States that we are hoping to fill within the next 3 months.
