F I R S T ® A L U M N I H A N D B O O K When you become a FIRST alum, you understand just how wide the FIRST network reaches and just how willing and excited that network is to help you achieve your goals. I got involved with FIRST almost nine years ago, and it’s been amazing to see the ways in which FIRST and the connections I formed through it have shaped my journey ever since. I graduated from a FIRST partner school,Yale University, and now work as a mechanical engineer for Dean Kamen’s R&D company, DEKA, where I get to work every day on really cool, life-changing medical technology.
