“BAE Systems has been a champion of FIRST for more than three decades. As a FIRST Strategic Partner, BAE Systems has helped us further our mission of inspiring students to seek out learning opportunities in STEM. Their fantastic support also allows us to give students the opportunity to see where their FIRST-learned skills can take them in their future careers,” said Chris Moore, CEO, FIRST. “For the third year, BAE Systems has returned as the Presenting Sponsor for FIRST Championship, providing a transformative experience for the thousands of students who will join us in Houston this spring to compete on a global stage.”
“Though our strategic partnership with FIRST, we’re investing in our pipeline of STEM talent and equipping students with the support and guidance to launch successful careers, modernize their fields, and ensure a prosperous future for our country,” said Tom Arseneault, president and CEO of BAE Systems, Inc. “These students will serve as America’s next great thinkers and leaders, driving innovation in our industry and solving the great problems of tomorrow, and their journey begins with the skillsets they’ve developed here.”
The 2024-2025 FIRST® DIVESM season, presented by Qualcomm, empowered students to use their STEM and collaboration skills to explore life beneath the surface of the ocean and uncover their potential to innovate for a better world with healthier oceans.
